Google Contact Labels

Go to https://contacts.google.com

Click on in your Google Apps in upper right corner.

Creating Labels

Click on Labels in the menu on the Left

Click on Create Label

Enter the name of the Label and click Save

Contacts Already in your Contact List

  1. Hover your cursor over the contact’s icon and check the box to select. Repeat for all the contacts for this Label.
  2. New controls appear at the top.
  3. Click the Manage Labels button.
  4. Select the Label or Labels you want to use for this group.

Contacts that are not in your Contact List but are in the Directory

  1. Create your Label first
  2. Click on Directory
  3. Search for the contact
  4. Click on More Options icon (3 dots) in upper right corner
  5. Click on the Label or Labels you want to include for this contact.

Sharing a Contact Label with Colleagues

Select the Label

Scroll to the bottom and click on export.

Select Google CSV

Export

Email the file to your Colleague.

They check their email and add the file to the drive.

They scroll down on Menu and click Import.and find the file in their drive.

Click import
