1995 – Microsoft began operations in Indonesia

1996 – Launched Microsoft Certified Professional program to provide recognized certifications for IT professionals

2004 – Opened the office that we continue to use today

Mid-2000s – Expanded our partner networks in Indonesia to bring increased support and service to customers across Indonesia

2008 – Initiated Microsoft User Group Indonesia (MUGI), a community of Microsoft technology’s users and fans

2008 – Launched WebsiteSpark to enable Small & Medium Enterprise to design and develop their company websites more efficiently and effectively

Early 2010 – Began offering commercial cloud services in Indonesia

2017 – Launched Microsoft Teams to bring tools for increased communication and collaboration to Indonesia

2017 – Partnered with Telkomtelstra to launch Microsoft Azure Stack, the first hybrid cloud solution in Indonesia

2018 – Launched the Microsoft Cloud Accelerator program to help customers take advantage of cloud services and solutions

2020 – Announced our #BerdayakanIndonesia initiative, including our intent to establish our first datacenter region in Indonesia

2022 – Provided Microsoft Learn and Azure Portal in Indonesian language to enable more inclusive learning and innovation 

2022 – Launched Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub to empower local startups to achieve more

2022 – Brought our commitment in D&I �to life by organizing our first Accessibility Forum in Indonesia, partnering with two local partners for the Enabler program, launching the Autism Mentorship program, and partnering with five local partners for the Code; Without Barriers program

2022 – Partnered with Indonesia National Cyber and Crypto Agency in Cyber Threat Intelligence Program to strengthen Indonesia’s infrastructure security against cyberthreat

2022 – Kicked-off #SATUKarya, a cross-industry collaboration platform that consists of SATU Community (a community learning platform) and SATU Talenta (a LinkedIn group for Microsoft-certified talents and job providers)
