Writing a Prompt

Example of an effective prompt:

My child is writing a report about rainforests. Can you suggest some interesting facts or topics they could explore?

This prompt is effective because:

  • It mentions the assistance needed (brainstorming ideas).
  • It provides context related to the child's schoolwork (report about rainforests).
  • It uses simple language and avoids technical jargon.

Tips for writing prompts

  1. Clarity: Be clear and concise in your instructions. The more specific you are, the better the AI can understand your request.
  2. Provide context: Give the AI some background information about what you want it to do.
  3. Use keywords: Include relevant keywords that guide the AI in the right direction.
