Assignments and Grades

The daily agenda will be written on the whiteboard in the classroom. It is recommended that students use a physical planner of some sort.

Digital assignments will be posted in Google Classroom (GC) and noted on the whiteboard. I will not post grades into GC.

I will be using Aeries to record and post grades for students.

Absences

When your student is absent for a medical reason, have them:

  • Send me an email: abreninger@srcs.k12.ca.us
  • Check GC for any digital assignments
  • Visit me during advocacy when they return to school

It can be really helpful for your student if they have a friend in the class that can deliver classwork to them if they are absent.

How to Support Your Student

Encourage your student to use a planner

Encourage your student to use advocacy to get help as well as to complete homework assignments

Check their science binder. It’s organized in class, so it should give you a clear picture of what and how they are doing. You should see self-corrected work in there!

Check grades online

Check Google Classroom to see if assignments are done

Email me and ask how they are doing

*check their phone activity during class time…
