HHS Graduation Requirements cover these, but notes: 4 credits of Math: UNC System strongly encourages future students to take at least one mathematics course unit in the 12th grade
Minimum 2.8 weighted GPA AND SAT of 1010 on new (verbal and math)
OR ACT composite of 19
Always refer to a college/universities‘ Admissions website for specific information on requirements
Two additional academic courses from English, mathematics, science, social studies, world languages, or computer science.
Note: these courses should be selected in alignment with a student’s academic and career objectives.
Completion of 2 credits of the same language other than English is highly recommended
Ex: French I & II, Chinese I & II, or Spanish I & II
Ex: Many South Carolina and California colleges require one arts credit (HHS does not)

YOU GOT
THIS!
As we head into a new school year, take this time for reflection:
What worked well for you this year?
What habits or practices should you keep for next year?
And what needs to change?
What do I want to take? To learn about? To explore?
See us at the Counselors’ Corner with any questions!
