In Italy there are various forms of pollution, which change the balance of natural ecosystems and cause serious risks to human health. The severity of pollution requires timely and effective local and national government choices and, on an international scale, all European states have to make agreements recognized by all states. The IQAir's World Air Quality Report ranks Italy 67th among countries with the most pollution.
