PMEA BACKGROUND

Originated from the International Mining and Exploration Committee (“IMEC”)

Registered in September 1998 as Philippine Mineral Exploration Association.

In November 2011, a change of name to Philippine Mining & Exploration Association was approved .

The Association is managed by a Board of 7 Trustees and an Administrator manages the day to day affairs of the association

Currently, there are 12 Regular Members, 47 Associate Members, 17 Individual Members and 17 Honorary Members

The PMEA meets every first Monday of the month at the 7F Elks Club, Corinthian Plaza.

The PMEA is an Affiliate Member of the Chamber of Mines of the Philippines.
