Proposals and Recommendations

  • Appoint a full-time staff member at World Triathlon to focus exclusively on Women in Sport.
  • From 2024, every Committee and Commission has a Chair and a Vice Chair of a different gender.
  • Committee/Commission collaborations should be sought whenever necessary and relevant. 
  • Create internship and other experience-based programs (Governance, Coaching, Technical Officials, other) to give women learning opportunities.
  • Cultivate the population of mentors and mentees by prioritizing their access to those internship programs.
