MISSION AND COMMANDER’S INTENT

MISSION STATEMENT:

Eliminate remaining TNA leadership JPELs in Pakistan FATA

COMMANDER’S INTENT:

Expanded Purpose:

Destroy TNA leadership to mitigate insurgency lead from exile by remaining leadership

​

Key Tasks:

• Conduct undercover LRRP patrols to locate confirm and capture or kill TNA leadership
• ​

End State:

TNA leadership threat pacified

SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

PRE-LAUNCH:� Gear up of required equipment and briefing

PHASE TWO:

Movement through waypoints to observation points

PHASE THREE:

SBF established assaults on enemy positions/forces.

PHASE FOUR:

Bag and ID JPELs prep for extract

PHASE FIVE/EXTRACT:

Move to HLZ extract with rest of Task force

PHASE ONE:

Insert to HLZ

MISSION

2 Troop will conduct a Recce patrol in Goram valley, FATA. locate and destroy TNA enemy positions and JPELs

INTENT

Eliminate enemy forces in TNA leadership in FATA

​

SoM

P1 - INSERT

Depart from MSS Trafalgar grid ref: 021002 via 160th SOAR to proposed LZ in the south of Goram valley

P2 - INFIL

Move from HLZ through RP points to observation points.

P3 - ACTIONS ON

-if enemy positions are located, setup SBF and attempt leadership recce.

-Split the troop into an overwatch and assault element

- assault positions and clear all enemy if possible take enemy forces alive and identity all EKIA.

- if possible take enemy JPELs in bodybags if not possible take DNA samples and pictures

P4 - EXFIL

Once the valley is clear await the rest of the task force to finish tasking in a SBF positions for possible enemy QRF

​

P5 - EXTRACT

Move to setup HLZ with rest of Task force. Loading any bodybags

​

JPELs elimated, TF callsigns RTB.

​

End State.

Insurgency threat avoided. Leadership cell destoryed

Utilize SOAR CAS and ISR as needed

Assault Phase

Once enemy positions or caves are located assault and clear at patrol leader command. Checking every EKIA as possible JPEL for samples and bagging

No time limit on mission objectives. Very unlikely pakistani response

JPELs could have S vests as they no way to retreat in an extended enage

Enemy is unexpecting Air threat as they have most likely grown used to Pakistani air patrols in the area
