Bike Roswell!

Roswell’s local bicycle advocacy group. Our mission is the promotion and advocacy for safe cycling in Roswell, but beyond that our mission is safe, active, healthy transportation and movement around our great community.

In 2018 we held the first Roswell Moves! Event. The event was extremely well received. In 2019 we hope to continue to grow the event and look at ways to expand the opportunity for residents to explore our community and historic district on bikes and on foot.

A community event

Still not sure?

Open Streets is NOT:

  • A race, run or organized ride
  • A parade
  • Alive in Roswell, or any other event with large numbers of vendors, tents, and dense congregations of people, etc

Open Streets is:

  • A PEOPLE FOCUSED event: that means the designated streets are open to human powered traffic only
  • Focused on COMMUNITY and local businesses and non-profit community groups
  • All about keeping streets open and facilitating movement from place-to-place via non motorized traffic
  • Smaller activity hubs along the route
  • Promoting healthy and active lifestyle
  • Connectivity
