New Things for 2022 Field Day

  • Put up the NA4RR Hex Club Beam on Fri & all wire antennas
  • Use Wireless Hotspot for Logs & WAN
  • Use Tri-Plexor to Share Hex Beam 10m,15m,20m Antenna
  • Use new 80m inverted V
  • Try for 5 Operating Stations
  • All Meals prepared on Site (Unknown # of people)
  • CW Station on same bands as Phone
  • Tried experimental 40m vertical beam
  • Use ContestOnlineScore.com again
  • Lots more Wires in Trees

What we Learned

  • 35 visitors. We missed some.
  • Need wider spacing of antennas.
  • Need higher 40m antenna, perhaps back to 12m pole?
  • Setting up logging was on time, but we had heat issues which require paying attention to logging computer and network equipment.
  • Need to announce publicly Field Day for Club.
  • Need Welcome Person & more lead time for planning.
  • Needed more operators & loggers.
  • Need more photos, missed people.
  • Good to see new facing and get to know club members in person.
  • Fix shade issues West side pavilion.
