�It is a working group formed in 1988 by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).�The main goal of MPEG is to develop international standards for the compression and storage of video, audio, and multimedia data.�MPEG is a family of standards used for encoding and compressing audio and video files.
