Sync Calendars to Your Phone

To sync your phone with ASHMI.ORG calendars, you need to get the appropriate iCal feeds. These feeds are different for iPhone and Android phone users.�

The steps to take are a bit

different too.

Sync Calendars to Your Phone

For iPhones:

  1. Go to a calendar page on ASHMI.ORG.
  2. Press the RSS button .
  3. Press “iCal Feed” and then “ ICAL ” button next to the calendar of interest.
  4. Pick “Add to Default Calendar App.”
  5. You should see a dialogue box asking you to subscribe.

Sync Calendars to Your Phone

For Android Phones:

  • Go to a calendar page on a laptop or desktop on �which you are logged into your Google account.
  • Press the RSS button .
  • Press “ ICAL ” next to the calendar of interest.
  • Pick “Add to Google Calendar.”
  • Any calendars you add should appear on your Android phone.

Calendar Alerts

  • Alerts can take the form of text messages or emails.
  • You can sign up for all the items on a calendar (not recommended) or specific events using the bells you see next to future items.
  • You will need to log into the Parent Portal to setup alerts.

Alerts and Text Messages

Before being able to receive text alerts, you must add your text enabled phone via the Parent Portal.

  1. Log into the Parent Portal - www.ashmi.org/parentportal
  2. At the top of the page you will see your name. Click it and pick “Subscriptions.”
  3. Add your text enabled phone�by clicking the plus sign.
  4. After you complete this�process, you will be able to �sign up for text alerts.

  • On the home page, click "News Archive” in ASH News
  • Click the Alerts button
  • Follow the onscreen instructions
