  • The Men’s Ministry at KUKUM (SSEC) is committed to fostering spiritual growth, leadership, community engagement, and personal development among men. This Yearly Plan aims to provide a strategic framework for advancing the mission and vision of the Men’s Ministry from 2025 onwards. By prioritizing discipleship, service, and mutual accountability, the ministry will support the holistic growth of men, equipping them to be leaders in their homes, churches, and communities, grounded in Christian principles.

  • To empower men at Kukum SSEC to become strong, committed disciples of Christ, transformative leaders in their families and communities, and active participants in the mission of the Church, with a focus on spiritual growth, service, and integrity.

MISSION PURPOSE

The purpose of this ministry is to provide a roadmap for the development and execution of programs and initiatives that:

  • Foster spiritual maturity among men,
  • Develop leadership skills rooted in biblical principles,
  • Promote service to the church, community, and beyond,
  • Strengthen family relationships and support fatherhood,
  • Encourage holistic well-being, including emotional, mental, and physical health.

  1. Spiritual Development and Discipleship
    • Goal: To provide opportunities for deepening the relationship with God through regular Bible study, prayer, and personal reflection.
    • Strategies:
      • Monthly Bible Studies: Host in-depth, thematic Bible studies focusing on topics such as godly manhood, leadership, and overcoming personal struggles.
      • Prayer Groups: Establish men’s prayer groups that meet weekly or bi-weekly for intercession, fellowship, and accountability.
      • Annual Men’s Retreat: Organize a spiritual retreat each year, focusing on renewal, leadership development, and personal reflection in a secluded setting.

2. Leadership Development and Empowerment

    • Goal: To equip men with the skills and biblical knowledge necessary to lead effectively in the home, church, and community.
    • Strategies:
      • Leadership Training Programs: Develop and offer workshops and seminars on Christian leadership, personal responsibility, and conflict resolution.
      • Mentorship Programs: Establish a mentorship network where older, mature men in the church mentor younger men, guiding them in spiritual growth, relationships, and life challenges.
      • Leadership Forums: Hold quarterly leadership forums where men from different generations can come together to discuss leadership challenges and opportunities in the church and community.

5. Holistic Well-being and Support

    • Goal: To promote the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of men within the church.
    • Strategies:

      • Counseling and Support Groups: Provide counseling services and support groups for men dealing with personal challenges such as addiction, depression, or work-related stress.
      • Sports and Recreation: Organize sports tournaments, fitness challenges, and recreational activities to promote physical well-being and strengthen relationships among men.

ACTION PLAN

  1. Formation of Men’s Ministry Leadership Team:�A leadership team consisting of dedicated men in the church will oversee the planning and implementation of all activities. This team will work closely with church leadership to ensure the ministry aligns with the church’s overall mission.
  2. Regular Communication:�Use church bulletins, social media, and other platforms to regularly communicate upcoming events, ministry initiatives, and resources available to men.
  3. Resource Development:�Develop resources such as Bible study guides, leadership handbooks, and mentoring tools to support men’s growth in each of the focus areas outlined above.
  4. Feedback and Evaluation:�Regularly assess the effectiveness of ministry programs through surveys and feedback from participants. This will allow for continuous improvement and ensure the ministry meets the needs of the men in the church.
