• Another notable rift valley is the West Antarctic Rift.
• Venus also has a few notable rift valleys, called Baltis Vallis.

• The type of plate boundary that creates an earthquake is a transform plate boundary. It has to do with the continental crust moving past each other in order to cause an earthquake. The way it creates an earthquake is that the tectonic plates slide past each other to cause an earthquake.
