About Feminine Genius Ministries!
We are a group of registered nurses with a passion for women's health. The American Academy of Pediatrics has stated the menstrual cycle should be considered a vital sign for young women. Just as a fever can indicate infection, an irregular menstrual cycle can indicate a health problem. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found in a woman's cycle! With the development of methods such as the Marquette Model, biology meets technology and becomes a powerful tool for young women. The power of being a woman rests in understanding our innate potential. If we don’t understand our most basic biology, we are already selling ourselves short. Through fertility awareness education, women can learn about their physical health which can be a building block to then explore mental, emotional, and spiritual health. The world desperately needs the light of women who understand, love, and respect who they are-- and that begins with basic body literacy.
About Me!
Hey there! I’m Heather, a registered nurse based in Arvada, Colorado. My life revolves around three energetic boys and my wonderful husband, Dalton. Together, we strive to raise our boys to love God, and our Catholic faith as we do.
These days, I balance part-time work at an outpatient clinic with mom duties, and cheering on my oldest at baseball or hockey games. When I’m not on the sidelines, you’ll often find me curled up with a good book, cup of coffee or glass of wine, or on a run with my puppies.
My journey with the Marquette Method of Natural Family Planning began when Dalton and I were preparing for our wedding. Navigating the various NFP options was overwhelming until I discovered Marquette. Its objectivity and healthcare professional-led approach instantly resonated with me.
Learning Marquette opened my eyes to the intricacies of my own body. It’s incredible how wonderfully our bodies are designed! I felt called to teach this method to empower other women and couples, guiding them through the ups and downs of their NFP journey.
