THE FIVE TENETS OF PBI

  1. Start with a driving question or problem to be solved.
  2. Participate in authentic, sustained, and situated investigations driven by student choice.
  3. Students use technology to gather, analyze, and communicate information.
  4. Students collaborate to develop, refine, and critique ideas.
  5. Students create an artifact to demonstrate what they have learned.
