How do the items in the boxes represent the school counselor?
How is the counselor like Kleenex?
Counselors are there to help you when you really need to let something out. Like a sneeze that you are trying to hold back, emotions can make you explode if you fight them too long!
How is the school counselor like a compass?
Just like a compass can lead you in the right direction, counselors are here to help you find your way! Navigating adolescence can be difficult. Counselors can help you when you feel lost.
How is the school counselor like a bandage?
Counselors can help you process and mend your wounds- especially the ones that are deep inside and hurt the most.
How is the counselor like a pair of headphones?
Sometimes you just need to talk, and counselors are GREAT listeners.
How is the counselor like puzzle pieces?
Sometimes life is confusing, and we struggle to make everything fit together – friends, family, school, and outside activities keep us very busy!
A counselor can help you put those pieces together in a way that takes some stress off your shoulders!
