Clearing Absences

5 days to clear an absence

Please have a doctor/dentist note to clear absences.

Early Dismissal

Send student with a note before school with dismissal info and parent signature and turn into the attendance office. Last minute early dismissals are difficult and may not be able to be granted.

The Attendance Office requires a minimum of 30 minutes to process early dismissals.

  • Emergency contacts are for emergencies only and we cannot release a student to an emergency contact without contacting all primary contacts first.
  • If you know your student needs to leave early for an appointment at any point in the day, we recommend calling our office as early as 7:30am to put the request in.
  • Please be aware that we do not do any early dismissals the last 20 minutes of the school day.
  • Please keep your children in school unless it is absolutely necessary to excuse them early.

Skateboard & Bike Rack

  • Skateboards & Bikes are to be walked while on campus.

  • Students need to lock up their bikes/skateboards in our bike rack.

  • The rack is locked up at 8:40am and unlocked at 3:25 pm

Fighting

Engaging in a fight is a minimum of 1-3 days automatic home suspension

Every day of suspension is also assigned 10 days of social probation

If students run to a fight or videotape a fight �or they will suffer similar consequences as the students engaged as a fight

Dance Regulations

  1. Students must have a GPA of 2.0 with �no more than one F.

  • Students must have NO outstanding fines.

  • Students must have NO unserved discipline assignments (Detentions, Saturday Schools, Behavior Intervention Center).

  • Students must attend school the entire day on Friday prior to a Friday or a Saturday dance.
