Pop art is based on simple bold images of everyday items such as soup cans, comic strips, hamburgers and animals. Lichtenstein became famous for creating images inspired by comic strips. Music | Do you like to sing with the radio? Have you ever sang in the shower? One of my favorite ways to sing with friends is by doing Karaoke and Sing-a-longs. A sing-a-long is when you watch a video or listen to a song and you follow along with the lyrics (words), and you sing with the artist. Karaoke is similar, because you have the lyrics, but when you sing, the artist’s voice has been removed, so it is only your voice being heard. I cannot guess how many times I have watched the Frozen movies in the past month, but it is a lot! My three year old loves Olaf, so we watch Frozen 1 & 2 almost every day. I want you to try the sing-a-long from Frozen 2, and see how well you can sing “Into the Unknown”. After you’ve practiced a bit, try to sing the karaoke version. If you like singing like this, almost any song you want to sing can be found in sing-a-long style by searching Youtube. Type in the song name, and the phrase “lyrics”, and you can find it. If you want to try the karaoke version, type in your song name followed by the phrase “karaoke”. If you want to try something popular on the radio right now, try this: “Be a Light”. |

Musica | ¿Te gusta cantar con la radio? ¿Alguna vez has cantado en la ducha? Una de mis formas favoritas de cantar con amigos es haciendo Karaoke y Sing-a-longs.
