  • Preparation
    • Print out only the second slide with the blank christian wheel for a hand out, children will fill it in as you teach
  • Teaching
    • Give the context of the early church growing and needing to develop a ‘Statement of Faith’ to give a short summary of what Christians believe is essential to the faith
    • show them your church has one developed and relay the importance of the statement as truth that we Christians are willing to die for
    • This document shows the Contemporary English Translation of the Nicene Creed (325 A.D.) with Constantinopolitan Creed (adapted in 381 A.D.)
    • Notice the transition in slide 6 to 7 that shows by the Power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus becomes “MY” Savior and “MY” Lord
    • The last slide shows the complete wheel that turns around for the Christian to stay connected to God in Prayer for all things, all answers, all opportunity and all thanksgiving for what he does in and through us.
