VOTING CHECKLIST & TIPS

Make sure you have valid photo ID which is required - check ncsbe.gov for a list of accepted IDs & how to get one free
Download your sample ballot from ncsbe.gov voter lookup
Request mail-in absentee ballot ASAP - by February 17 if voting by mail. Your mail in ballot now must be RECEIVED by March 3 – there is no longer a grace period and there are no exceptions. Mail your ballot ASAP if you are voting absentee
Check your registration status at NCSBE.gov. If not registered to vote, register in person or online by February 6 -OR— plan to register & vote at One-Stop Early Voting
