About Peer Power

Nonprofit founded in 2004

Provides in-class high dosage tutoring with supplemental after-school, and spring/summer learning programs

Currently serves 13,000 students, delivering 3,500 tutoring and mentoring hours each week

Employs high school and college students as tutors, called Success Coaches, who function like teaching assistants in the classroom

Classrooms supported by Success Coaches report higher student attendance and increased teacher satisfaction and retention rates

Success Coaches are paid, earn internship credit, and are able to graduate with less debt

1.9 times more likely to improve student’s ACT score – composite scores increase by 3.1 points on average

Peer Power Success Coaches have a 31% higher college graduation rate as compared to other university students*

Peer Power has a direct and trusted relationship with thousands of students ready to enter the workforce and assists students in building a resume, searching for employer/trade matches, filling out applications, preparing for interviews, etc.
