Follow along through the following slides and make decisions….

As you go write down your decision on the left side of your paper.

Then on the right side of the paper write down any effects including positive and negative happy points and other effects listed. At the end you will have a total score and a fun little story of who is on the trip, things you have done, etc.

Begin: School

You notice that you are struggling to get through school. Other students are better off than you and you consider life outside of the classroom.

Do you: stick it out or drop out?

Effect

If you choose stick it out: add +5 and add a high school diploma

If you choose drop out: add -2 and one child

First Job

You hear about a local job working at a hospital. You are not very qualified and are unlikely to get the job.

Do you: apply anyway or look for something else

Effect

If you choose apply anyway: add +8 and learn to relate to others

If you choose look for something else: add +3 but add your

health decreases (you choose McDonalds)

First Car

Choose either car 1 or 2:

If you choose car 1: -8 and add broken leg (driving too fast)

If you choose car 2: +2 (good reliable and safe car)

Parents

You don’t know your father, but you get a letter saying he wants to meet you. What do you do?

Meet him for coffee or throw out the letter?

Effect

If you choose to meet him: +3 (even though he was a jerk you get closer)

If you choose throw out letters: -3 and add you will always wonder about your dad

Car Trouble

As you travel your car gets a flat tire. You do not have a spare tire, and it is beginning to get dark. Should you…

Receive help from a stranger or sleep in your car until morning.

Effect

If you choose to meet help from a stranger: -4 and get mugged, lose $100

If you choose sleep until morning: +3 a policeman finds you in morning and helps get you to a local tire shop

New Tires

The local tire shop is run by a nice woman named Mattie. However, the tires are still too expensive and you do not have enough money at the time do you…

Look for another tire shop OR ask her to hold you car until you can afford it?

Effect

If you choose to go to another tire shop: -2 no one has a better discount

If you choose to have her hold your car: she offers you a better discount and you make a new friend, +3

Roommate

You decide to find a roommate to make it easier to afford rent?

Choose to live with hippies or a lady with a baby.

Effect

If you choose hippies: get in lots of arguments, -1 and lose three friends

If you choose lady with a baby: make a new friend, +1

A Random Stranger

You are about to leave a local restaurant and a lady asks you to take her baby. Do you

Take the baby or call the police?

Effect

If you choose to take the baby: police get called, arrested for kidnapping, -2

If you choose to call the police: +4 you found a stolen baby and return it to it’s real family

A Local Waitress

A local waitress is struggling to get by and tells you about how she leaves her baby at the mall because she can’t afford daycare.

Do you: offer to babysit for her OR report her to a child protective service?

Effect

If you choose to offer to babysit: make a new friend, +6

If you choose to report her: baby is wrongfully taken away from his mom, -5 and make an enemy

Helping Strangers

You learn that there are some people next door who you believe are here illegally in the country, do you?

Not report them or report them?

Effect

If you choose not to report them: +4 make good friends who help get you a new car

If you choose to report them: -2 they are not actually illegal and you are embarassed
