Why is first aid important?
Every year in the UK, thousands of people die or are seriously injured in incidents. Many deaths could’ve been prevented if first aid was given before emergency services arrive.
It gives you tools to prevent the situation from becoming worse.
It enables you to increase patient comfort.
It creates the confidence to care.
