Dashboard Use

Promote continuous improvement for �all student groups

How is the Dashboard used? First and foremost, the Dashboard is used to promote continuous improvement for all student groups across all indicators.

But is has other uses, including for Awards from the CDE and additional distinctions from the state, such as Blue Ribbon Schools and our Distinguished Schools program.

The Dashboard is also used to make support determinations for both our state and local accountability systems; both local and state indicator data are used to determine which LEAs are eligible for Differentiated Assistance under the Local Control Funding Formula, or LCFF. State indicator data are used to determine which schools are eligible for Comprehensive Support and Improvement, or CSI, and Additional Targeted Support and Improvement, or ATSI, under the Every Student Succeeds Act, or ESSA.
