Objectives

To discover the key drivers that are decisive for millennials to pursue a career opportunity at an organisation

To recognise the top ten influential factors that impact talent management strategies in Indian millennial context

To highlight the extensive need for alignment of such factors for successful talent management of Indian millennials

Methodology

Using secondary research, applicable factors were collected

35 prominent factors were identified and used as part of questionnaire

An additional section was provided in the questionnaire for any comments

The magnitude of the factors were measured using 5 point Likert scale

Only the respondents belonging to Generation Y were allowed to participate

Survey respondents were chosen using convenience sampling

Responses were collected through online mode using Google forms

Further Research

This research only covered the perspectives from millennials belonging to Chennai

Further research can be conducted on a large scale with Gen Y individuals belonging to different regions of India

Also, similar research can be conducted with people who belong to Generation Z (Post-millennials)
