The All Blacks have played a total of 43 matches in the seven Rugby World Cup tournaments.They were the only team who made it to all the semi-finals at the world cup between 1987 and 2003.The All blacks has won the tournament twice, in 1987 and 2011 both of which they had hosted.The tournament was first held in 1987.Three teams have won the trophy twice Australia, New Zealand and South Africa while England have won the tournament once. England will host 2015 World cup,While Japan will host the event in 2019.The 2015 tournament will involve twenty nations competing over six weeks. Did you know that 281 matches were played in the rugby world cup history. 20 countries take part in the rugby world cup. More than 4000 Kiwis are heading over to the United Kingdom to watch the Rugby World Cup, but inevitably, for some of them, things are bound to go wrong. New Zealand hold the record for the most points scored in a Rugby World Cup match they ticked up 145 against Japan in 1995.

TONGA

The Tonga National Rugby Union team is nicknamed ʻIkale Tahi (Sea Eagles).

They are members of the Pacific Islands Rugby Alliance (PIRA) along with Fiji and Samoa. On 24 November 2012, Tonga beat Scotland, at Pittodrie Stadium, 21–15 for their first victory over a traditional rugby power on a European pitch.

The Samoa national rugby union team (also known as Manu Samoa) is the men's representative side of Samoa in rugby union.

Rugby was introduced to Samoa in the early 1920s and a governing body was soon formed. Samoa have been to every Rugby World Cup since the 1991 tournament.
