What is PALS? PALS stands for Peer Assistance Leadership Service.

PALS is a school-based, peer-to-peer class for 8th grade students.

PALS program goals are to help build a positive school climate through youth leadership, mentoring, conflict resolution, peer helping, service, and prevention activities.

Things to Keep in Mind about Electives

During middle school one full year of fine arts is required.

Select electives carefully. You will not be able to change them after they lock on 2/14.

No elective changes will be allowed after May 22, 2025.

Students are not guaranteed their 1^st or 2^nd choices. Please choose at least three alternate elective choices.

Students who do not meet the minimum requirements on the math and/or reading STAAR will be required to take a reading/math acceleration class in place of their elective.

Students will need to input all course selections into Skyward. You do not need to turn in course sheets to counselors.

Deadline to enter courses into Skyward is Feb. 14^th
