Our faith proclaims our life of worth
In all its fullness from our birth;
Our faith stands for the sanctity
Of every living entity;
The gift of life is so unique
It blossoms strongly in ‘the meek’.
Our faith proclaims that waste is wrong;
That violence should not tempt the strong;
Our faith rejects destructiveness,
Oppression and abusiveness;
Let evil be subdued by good;
May love pervade each neighbourhood.
Our faith proclaims a solemn tie
To judgements as to when we die;
Our faith regards, with painful breath,
Decisions made surrounding death;
When is it right to ethically
Surrender life with dignity?
Our faith proclaims our life of worth
In all its fullness from our birth;
Our faith stands for the sanctity
Of every living entity;
So heed the call to you and me
To live our lives abundantly.
