Homework HUB
Sponsors: Mrs. Specht, Mrs. Kane, Mrs. Hewitt, Ms. Cummane, Mrs. Green, Ms. Denton
Experiences: Homework Club provides students with access to a space to work after school. An AMS teacher supervises and provides assistance to students. Any student looking for a safe place to work and teacher assistance is welcome. This is also the only time test retakes can be taken.
When: Monday - Thursday 2:30 - 3:40 p.m. (late bus available)� All Year � Drop In As Needed

Student Council
Sponsors: Mr. Calaway and Mr. Porcelli
Experiences: Student Council is the go-to club if you want to be involved in what goes on at Albright. We do outreach in the community during the holidays and fundraisers for various other local organizations. Student Council members also create and organize student events throughout the year. Student Council is open to all grades, and seventh and eighth grade members may run for an executive board position. Student Council is free to join and runs all year. Elections for the executive board will be held at the beginning of the school year.

AVTV�Albright Viking TeleVision
Sponsors: Mrs. Specht and Mrs. Zoske
Experiences: AVTV is a club where students will write and deliver AMS and district news in a televised broadcast to build a sense of community and Viking Pride. News stories would include information about our school, district, and community. Stories may extend beyond local news to a state, national, and global level to include topics of student choice and interest as applicable throughout the school year.
When: Regular Weekly Meeting: Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. (late bus available)

Experiences: Members learn the basics of baking and cooking while following recipes.

Crafting Club

Experiences: Members of Crafting Club will work on improving their crafting skills with various projects throughout the year. We will start with pumpkin painting and mason jar art. Other projects will include jewlery making and picture frame design.
When: Wednesdays (Trimester 1 - 10/7, 11/11, Trimesters 2 & 3 - TBD) 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. (late bus available)�

FALL Culture Club

Experiences: Showcase our Viking diversity and help AMS build a more inclusive and equitable school environment for all. Share your culture with others and learn from those around you. All are welcome!

SPRING Anime Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Kane
Experiences: Anime Club is a space to share your love and knowledge of Japanese animation. Members participate in viewing of anime series, making crafts, engaging in active discussions, and drawing anime characters.
When: January-April on the following Wednesdays: 1/22, 2/19, 3/19, 4/23

Video Game Club
Sponsor: Mr. Porcelli
Experiences: Video Game Club provides students the opportunity to play games on a variety of different gaming platforms. Students will bring their own video games. They will have the ability to plug them into the school's displays. Students can bring handheld games, consoles consoles, mobile games (cell phone), and Chromebook games.

Yoga & Wellness Club
Sponsors: Ms. Cummane
Experiences: This club will focus on yoga and movement, including breathing, poses, relaxation, and meditation. We will also learn to make healthy snacks to promote wellness. If you are feeling stressed or tense, take a midweek break with us!

Art Club

Experiences: Art Club consists of Albright Middle School students who love the Arts and cannot get enough throughout the school day. The focus of Art Club is to provide an additional space for students to build upon their knowledge, skills, creativity and passion of the arts. Activities may include personal projects, group projects, and participating in school events.

Badminton Club

Experiences: Badminton club focuses on giving students opportunities to play badminton competitively as an extension of their unit in PE class. We work on building skills and stamina and understanding the rules of badminton.
