The Immersion-Style Classroom

  • What was it like during the first part of class mostly in Spanish?
  • If you were in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language, how would you communicate?
  • Have you had a conversation with someone who didn’t speak much English? What did you do to understand one another?
  • Even in our own native language it can be hard expressing or understanding a certain point. How do we bridge the communication gaps?

  • Write out exercises from the Unit Packet
  • Review (& memorize) grammar – build this into your HW time
