Learning Analytics Insights Portal
How the Insights Portal can help
How many times did students use content in your site? This dashboard helps you answer this baseline course design related question. Additionally, were average scores on graded work low while students returned to content often?
With the Insights Portal, I can now...
..diagnose where content units or items have high and low usage.
..match low/high usage items with related assessments, to diagnose alignment between lesson material and learning objectives.
..find content students needed to use, but didn't.

From the Introduction page click the “Content Use” link. This will take you to an overview of interaction with your course content from across the semester.
Select your section
In the “Choose a section to filter the page” area of the dashboard select which section you want to display. Once you do this all of your content from that section will show as a visualization in the section below.

~ If my students had high engagement early in the semester and it has dropped off perhaps they have found the cycle of the course or go directly to the content without going through a Unit.
~ If there is a Unit or content item that is looked at more than others than the students may find that Unit/Item more important than others.
