Modeling Curriculum

Activities

Whiteboard Group Presentations

Creating a whiteboard

In groups, students will engage in activities such as worksheets, labs, and games to engage in critical thinking of the topic being learned.

Groups will present their whiteboards. The class will evaluate the information and come to a consensus about the information through authentic class discussion.

Based on the activity, students will create a whiteboard that presents all of the knowledge they learned from the activity.

Grades & HAC

Grades are updated as soon as possible in HAC. It is the students responsibility to check their grades.

Abbreviations to know:

  • TBD: To be determined - your student was absent at the time when the work was collected and still needs to turn in the work. “TBD” does not negatively impact the grade.
  • MU: Make Up - your student was absent at the time of collection and counts as a zero until the work is turned in.
  • E: Exempt - your student was absent when the assignment was completed and is not required to make it up
  • 0/NC: No Credit, the work has not been turned in and will no longer be accepted in the gradebook.
