WHAT IS A VIDEO?

  • It is a record of images or moving images.
  • A program or movie or other visual media product featuring moving images with or without audio that is saved digitally.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF USING VIDEO IN TEACHING ENGLISH

  • Using a real-world video can lead to students grouth and progress.
  • It makes them more confident to use their English language skills in real life conversations.

WHY WOULD A TEACHER USE A VIDEO TO TEACH EFL?

  • It is well known that the learners of any second language find it easier to learn a language when they watch videos where the can hear music or records and see images or colours. So the use of a video in teaching EFL will encourage learners to learn better .

HOW LONG SHOULD A VIDEO BE ?

  • It depends on the goal of the video.
  • It depends on students need.
  • It is preferable to not be less than 15 seconds and to not be more than 5 minutes
