      • Face to face CCP course? Choose a course that begins after 2pm.
    • If enrolling in two CCP courses, you'll have two HHS courses.
    • To participate in CCP, students must be enrolled in at least 2 HHS courses.
      • Face to face CCP courses? Choose courses that begin after 12pm if you are choosing 2 classes.

    • Make sure you are registering for classes that are listed within the CCP pathway in which you applied
    • CCP course registration is by semester. HHS course registration is by school year. PLAN NOW FOR A FULL HHS schedule (8 HHS courses).
    • Unless the course is online, you need to give yourself plenty of time to leave campus and arrive to your destination.
    • Prepare to leave HHS immediately at the end of your scheduled HHS courses. *This is a WCPSS Dual Enrollment policy

Other Considerations/Information for CCP

-No. HHS does not have any special access/powers/communication with Wake Tech Staff/Instructors. Students must be able to self-advocate/communicate with Wake Tech as needed.

-No. CCP students can’t take any college course they want. Students can only take college courses listed in the pathway(s) in which they applied.

-No. Just because dropping a college course may not impact the college GPA, it does not mean the student’s high school GPA won’t be impacted.

-No. There isn’t any financial assistance for textbooks or transportation.

-No. The Wake Tech academic calendar isn’t the same as the WCPSS calendar. If WCPSS cancels school, it doesn’t mean Wake Tech is automatically cancelled.

-No. PowerSchool and Wake Tech are not connected. While the CCP course may be listed on the schedule in PowerSchool, only FINAL grades are added to the high school transcript at the end of the WCPSS semester. Disregard any “zeros” you may see in PowerSchool throughout the semester.
