  • Usage Directions
  • (1) Enter passcode. �  For those who registered using Student ID,the default passcode is your birth date. (It should be 7 digits, using the ROC date format. ROC date format: “Your birth year”- 1911, birth month, and birth date.)
  • *All ROC birth years below 100 should be entered with a 0 at the front. *All birth months below 10 should also be entered with a 0 in the front. (Example: If you’re born in July 2, 2005, you should enter your birth date as 0940702)
  • For those who registered using National ID or Alien Residence Number,the default passcode is your National ID or Alien Residence Number.

Bookdrop - Directions

  • This book drop is available for returning library items and is open� 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Book drop emptied at 8 a.m. on the working day.
  • All return records are subject to the library checking. Readers � are responsible for any loss.
  • The number of items available is subject to the computer records � before the library checking
  • The following items should NOT be place in the Book Drop, they � must be returned directly to library.

1.Non-book material, such as CD-ROMs, VCDs, DVDs.

2.Oversized books:Books should never be forced or jammed � into the Book Drop.

3.Book accessories such as CD-ROMs or floppy disks are � accompanied with book.

4.Wetted material.

5.Interlibrary card.

Service

Service Details

(1) Enter using a valid library card.

(2) Any sort of food and drinks are strictly prohibited.

(3) Please place your backpacks and book bags in the storage area near the entrance.

(4) Using the public computer to play games or chat online is strictly prohibited and once caught will be removed the right of using public computers for two weeks and homeroom teacher will be notified.

(5) Please keep quiet within the library. Running, Chasing, or speaking loudly is strictly prohibited.

(6) Please return books to their original shelf after they have been read.

Book-Borrowing Service

(1) School teachers (whether substitute, part-time, of student-teachers), administrators, and staff members are entitled to a borrowing limit of ten books.

(2) Students, temporary staff members, and volunteers (including PTA members), and those with inter-library cards are entitled to a borrowing limit of three books.

(3) Students from the High School Department and the Bilingual Department are entitled to a borrowing limit of five books.

(Borrowing limited to books and reference materials, outdated magazines and catalogs, audiovisual content and materials, and inter-library cards.)

(4) Borrowing time is limited to 30 days. Books that should be returned but without any reservations could extended of borrowing period.

(5) Once not returned on the due date, you will be fined of 1NTD per day every weekday after the return date. (Borrowing right could be redeemed by restricting the right to borrow books for the number of days late after required return date.)

(6) Inter-library cards are only limited to High School students and teacher of administrators. (One card may be borrowed for three days, and may not be extended time of return. Once overdue, you will be fined 20NTD per day, and borrowing right may not be redeemed by suspending the right to borrow.)

(7) Once a book is lost, you must return the same book to the library by buying the book. If not possible, you must pay the original cost of the book.

Library Classes

(1) Please lead the class into the library on time. (See class schedule posted outside library)

(2) One student swipes card to unlock library beeper and door, and the whole class goes in at once.

(3) Please abide by the library rules.

(4) Please place the library books in order before you leave and organized the desk and chairs used.
