Prevent Water Leaks and Building Floods

Serious building floods have occurred due to use of improper hoses and poorly secured connections. Building floods can be very disruptive to research and are very costly to clean-up. You can prevent water leaks by:

• Check water valves regularly and close unused water valves at the source.
• Use the proper type of tubing thickness that can withstand maximum water pressures used
• Secure tubing with the proper type of clamp
• Regularly inspect water tubing and connections. Promptly replace when necessary.
• Use closed-loop systems such as chillers to reduce risk
