Загальні запитання�General questions

• Ми ставимо загальні запитання або General questions (Yes/No-?) до всього речення.
• На такі запитання ми можемо дати коротку (Так/Yes або Ні/No) та повну відповідь.
• Загальні запитання завжди починаються з дієслова.
• Example: Are you a pupil? – Yes, I am. No, I am not. Yes, I am a pupil. No, I am not a pupil.

• Are you friends? – Yes, we are. No, we aren’t.
• Do you go to school? – Yes, I do. No, I don’t.
• Did she see this film? – Yes, she did. No, she didn’t.
• Will we have holidays in summer? – Yes, we will. No, we won’t.
• Is the cat sleeping now? – Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.

• Ми ставимо спеціальні запитання до члена речення: підмета, присудка, додатка, означення та обставини.
• Спеціальні запитання завжди починаються з питальних слів.
