Make sure the school numbers are included in the calendar information.

Future Enrollments

Enrollments for Program Calendars

Roll Forward Student Enrollments

  • Start Date = First instructional day of the future calendar
  • Start Status = E1: Init enroll - this year

Program Calendar Enrollments

  • Start Date = 07/01/20xx
  • Start Status = N1: Initial Enroll into a Program School

Student Information > General Student Administration > Enrollment Roll Forward Wizard

Run the Enrollment Roll Forward wizard frequently to process any new students.

Future Enrollment Import (Optional)

Removes existing future enrollment records and updates the future enrollment fields for the current enrollment record. (*Will also remove course requests or planned courses)

Only students included in the file will be updated.

The Enrollment Roll Forward Wizard will need to be run again to create new future enrollments.

Enrollment Cleanup

Use the Enrollment Cleanup Wizard to:

  • Delete any future enrollments for students that withdraw before the last day of the current year.

  • Update any future enrollment dates (if there were calendar changes)
  • Update any enrollment attributes that did not originally roll forward.

Pre-Register Students

Students can be pre-registered in the future year as long as they are not currently enrolled in a NC Public or Charter School.

  • Start Date = First instructional day of the future school year
  • Entry Status = E1: Init enroll - this year

Enrollment Blackout Dates - June 27th-July 7th

Beginning June 27th DO NOT ENROLL or TRANSFER RECORDS

NCDPI will notify PSUs when to enroll and transfer records (expected July 7th)

  • Disabled Course Code Cleanup Validation
  • Reminder, the active trial in the scheduling board, is the master schedule.
    • The active trial will lock when the future year is active.
  • Create sections as needed.
  • Roster students when ready.

*Good practice to copy the rolled in trial and make the copy the active trial even if not using the scheduling board.
