Step 1: Preparation

How did I prepare to begin my project?

1. Researching my options (sewing, knitting, photography, drawing, book-making.)
2. Decided to make a graphic novel:
3. Researched artistic styles. Began writing a storyboard. Drew out basic sketches.
4. Created a blurb account, installed the Blurb plugin into InDesign.
5. Set up my document.
6. Began drawing out my scenes!

Once I was finished with all 24 pages of my book I double-checked my work and saved a final copy.

I also placed on order on Blurb.com for the printed copies!

The orders took about a week to deliver and I was really happy with how it turned out!

Reflection

I had so much fun completing this project! It really was great to develop my book making skills and improve in drawing. I would say my biggest challenge was finishing a week before everyone else because I had to take in account shipping. I was nervous at the start, but with the help of others and Ms.P’s motivation, as well as my own work, I was able to do it in the end. Hope you guys enjoy!
