    • January: Planning meetings with elementary counselors, students, and parents begin. We will create a rough draft of the student's 6th grade plan in SchooLinks. Students will be able to adjust course requests until the February 7th deadline.
    • February 7th: All course selections for 6th grade are due in SchooLinks. After this date, Counselors will approve student plans in SchooLinks, making sure they have met all requirements .
    • February 17th-28th: Parents will log in to or create their own SchooLinks account to approve their child’s choices for next year. Counselors will send out an email when plans are ready for parent approval and will give instructions on how to complete this process. Parents will need their child’s unique claim code if they are not already linked to their student’s account. Please see directions below if you have not received the unique claim code from your student.

**Parents: After your approval, the courses chosen for 6th grade will be added as requests in our scheduling system (Skyward). This is not a guarantee that your child will have these courses on their schedule next year due to potential scheduling conflicts, availability, and class size/balance
