Choose the down arrow next to GPT 4.1 to set a different default model.

2. How can I help you?:

You can immediately start chatting with DukeGPT by typing your own question or prompt. Or you can use any of the suggested prompts for example, finding parking options, events, or resources for students at Duke.

Number 3. Other functions in the chat box include:

+ Capture or Upload Files: Select the "+" to either capture a web browser tab, window, or entire screen or upload a file for the chat box to use.

Code Interpreter: This tool allows you to input code that will be executed for analysis.

Record Voice or Call: Select the microphone icon to record your voice and then copy the transcription into the chat box. Or select the headphones icon to initiate a call that will automatically initiate a chat from whatever you say.

How to Get Started with DukeGPT

Visit https://chat.ai.duke.edu/
The first time you access DukeGPT, you will be prompted to sign in to Open WebUI
Click the “Continue with Duke University OpenID Connect” button
Login with your NetID
NOTE: Your first time logging in, you will need to wait 1-5 minutes for your account to be provisioned
Choose a model (or stay in default model)
Click New Chat (top left), type in center box, and start chatting!
