How my interest in clothes began…

Finding what I liked…

In 4th grade, I was finally able to decide what I wanted to wear, and began to start caring more, and more about what I wore. It was a rough start, as seen in this picture. →

Social Media…

Social media expanded my view on what was popular at the time I was looking. In 7th grade, I decided to buy my first pair of popular shoes, which were Jordan 1s. I had seen many many people around me, and online buying Jordan 1’s, so I saved up and bought my first pair.

Expanding…

Getting those first nice shoes opened a window for me to be able to match different articles of clothing, leading to me buying my first cargo pants, and hoodies. During 7th grade, I fell in love with cargo pants and bought many pairs. I also started buying different hoodies with different designs to match my outfits.

Finding my style.

8th, and 9th grade I started to find what I really liked, and wanted to wear. In 8th grade I started buying more shoes, because I believe they are the most important part of the outfit. If you have nice shoes, the outfit will look nicer automatically, which led me to buy two pairs of shoes in 8th grade.

Now…

Now, I began making my own money, and ordering my own things, which allowed me to explore my fashion identity. I still don't think I have my desired closet, but clothes are expensive, and as I make more money, and grow, I think i'll find my style, and wear what I like with confidence.
