How I Got To UDL

  1. How can one read comics if they can’t see?
  2. How long does it take to navigate to a page?
  3. How many have unrealized disabilities?
  4. How many benefit from a UDL approach?
  5. Who are our students?

Why does Accessibility matter?

  1. All students benefit from accessibility practices.
  2. If a student cannot access the learning materials and opportunities, they can’t engage or learn.
  3. Accessibility & UDL are about lowering artificial barriers, not lowering standards.
  4. Accessibility meets the legal requirements, but can still create unnecessary obstacles.
