How to request courses in

Step 1 - Go to KSS website: https://kss.sd23.bc.ca/

Click below on MyEdBC

Step 2 - Click on MyEducationBC Box

**TIP: Bookmark this page at home or on your phone so that you can access it quicker as you use MyEd to access your report card and schedule too.

*READ CAREFULLY

Please enter your login exactly as shown, followed by the password exactly as it is in the e-mail you received (copy and paste). You will be prompted to change your password at the next step.

If you get a log-in wrong too many times, the system may require to request a reset for your password.

**TIP: Write down your Login ID and Password somewhere safe (you will need this again)

Click Requests to choose courses

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS

Select One Course then click OK

Ex. Grade 10 English looks like this:

  • Math
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • PHE
  • Electives
  • AM/PM Classes
  • Alternates

Repeat for each category:

**TIP: Check your grad requirements to make sure you include everything you need

**TIP: If using a Chromebook, click full size screen to make sure you don’t miss any options.

This step is OPTIONAL. Only choose these classes if you are wanting to add before or after school classes.

AM/PM Classes

  • Double check your requests
  • Make sure you fill your timetable
  • Choose some alternative options (we often need to use these for your electives)
  • Keep going back in until the deadline to make sure these requests are what you want (changing later is difficult and classes are typically full)
  • Click “Post” when complete
  • At any point, if your account becomes disabled, please come to the office and we will reset your password for you
