2023 High School Graduation Rates
In 2023, CCSD’s overall graduation rate was down 1.3 points from the previous year, and 5 points over the past 5 years.
2023 Elementary Milestones ELA
In 2023, CCSD ES students performed 15 points lower than RESA ES students, and 10 points lower than Statewide ES students in ELA.
The percentage of CCSD ES students scoring proficient or above in ELA did not change from 2022 to 2023.
2023 Elementary Milestones Math
In 2023, CCSD ES students performed 16 points lower than RESA ES students, and 10 points lower than Statewide ES students in Math.
The percentage of CCSD ES students scoring proficient or above in Math increased 2 points from 2022 to 2023.
2023 Middle School Milestones ELA
In 2023, CCSD MS students performed 15 points lower than RESA MS students, and 14 points lower than Statewide MS students in ELA.
The percentage of CCSD MS students scoring proficient or above in ELA increased one point from 2022 to 2023.
2023 Middle School Milestones Math (EOG only)
In 2023, CCSD MS students performed 17 points lower than RESA MS students, and 12 points lower than Statewide MS students in Math.
The percentage of CCSD MS students scoring proficient or above in Math did not change from 2022 to 2023.
2023 Middle School Milestones Math (Algebra I)
The percentage of CCSD MS students scoring proficient or above on the High School Algebra I End of Course test increased 5 points from 2022 to 2023. The number of MS students taking Algebra I increased from 96 to 120 students in 2023.
2023 HS Milestones American Literature
In 2023, CCSD HS students performed 12 points lower than RESA HS students, and 7 points lower than Statewide HS students in American Literature.
The percentage of CCSD HS students scoring proficient or above in American Literature decreased 2 points from 2022 to 2023.
2023 HS Milestones Algebra I
In 2023, CCSD students performed 8 points lower than RESA students, and 4 points lower than Statewide students in Algebra I. Note: MS students are included here.

2024 Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan
Georgia's local educational agency (LEA) Consolidated Application includes The Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan, or “CLIP”. The CLIP fulfills the need for a plan from LEAs to be collected by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) to define how the LEAs will support their students when accepting federal funds under The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015.
The CLIP is a collaborative effort between internal and external stakeholders. It includes feedback and input from schools and district leaders, employees, parents, students and community members. The CLIP is due annually on June 30th.

Districtwide Title I Schoolwide Program (SWP)
A Title I schoolwide program (SWP) is a comprehensive reform strategy designed to upgrade the entire educational program in a Title I school. Its primary goal is to ensure that all students, particularly those who are low-achieving, demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement on state academic standards.
Under the ESEA section 1114(a)(1), as amended by ESSA, a schoolwide reform strategy requires a school to:
