i-Ready is an online program for reading and mathematics that allows teacher(s) to know what your student knows and needs help with so that teachers can help students increase learning
Let’s take a minute to learn a little more about i-Ready.

i-Ready was built using the Common Core State Standards in Reading and Mathematics and it has 3 main parts

One, the i-Ready Diagnostic which provides information on what students know in reading and math and pinpoints students’ strengths and next steps for instruction.
Two i-Ready Personalized Learning which is an online program that provides students with lessons at the level they are ot based on the diagnostic.
The third component is teacher resources for whole class and small group instruction to increase student grade level learning

The dates are the same for the math and reading i-Ready Diagnostics.
The dates English Learners take the i-Ready Reading Diagnostic are a little different for English Learners. English Learners have a later due date to take the Diagnostic.
For example, for English learners the Beginning of the year Diagnostic was due on September 6 (Click) , but for English learners it was due a week later on September 13 (Click).
For each Diagnostic schools have about 3 weeks to complete them, but some schools only test during one or two of those weeks, so please check with your student’s school to confirm dates. Especially because (Click) for the next diagnostic schools can request to take it in January instead of November or December like it says right next to red arrow

Notes to Facilitators:

The window is 3 weeks but this doesn’t mean the students are testing every day during those 3 weeks.
It means that one grade level might test the first week, another class might test later
Also for MOY some schools are moving testing to January
