to 6th grade at Westlake Charter School! We are going to be doing a lot of exploring and growing together this year, and I can’t wait! We will be learning about ratios, negative numbers, and taking our foundational skills farther. In science, we will study weather, plate tectonics, and learn how to think like a scientist. We will have fun connecting with each other, and learning about how we impact the world. It’s going to be an amazing year.

This is my eleventh year at Westlake, and my 26th year in education. I grew up in Grass Valley, where my parents still live. I went to college at Dominican University in San Rafael, and have lived all over California. I have a 21 year old son who is in college up in Humboldt, and 2 cats named Luke and Leia!. I love to read, be outside, and learn. I am looking forward to learning all about you!
