What is OMA?

Opening Minds through Art (OMA) is an intergenerational art program for people with dementia. The main mission of OMA is to build bridges across age and cognitive barriers through art.

Skills Required:

You do not need to be artistic! A lot of the students we work with do not come from art majors. It is more about being able to form a connection with your partner.

What Type of Art?

The art we do is mainly abstract so there is no correct way to complete the projects. There are different layers involved with painting, stamping, pressing, and rolling.
